Our Hetalia cosplays have been near and dear to our hearts. We rarely do multiple photoshoots for the same cosplay, but for Hetalia we just had to for the battle between Colonial US and 1st Empire UK. We did a photoshoot just for the "destruction" of these cosplays with fake blood and gore makeup and paint.
We probably spent a lot more time prep "destroying" these cosplays than actually shooting. lol To get the right look we literally rolled around in the dirt, threw red paint on the clothes, and spattered fake blood on our wigs and faces just for this shoot.
We tried to tell a story with these photos. Hopefully that came through.

Arthur was getting tired,tired of the war, tired of everything. As he was walking through the forest all bloodied and bruise he comes across someone. As he came closer his eyes widen, it was Alfred, his brother. Even if this war teared them apart he still considered Alfred as his brother.
As he stumbled towards Alfred he saw him move and groan. Arthur went towards him and fell near him. Alfred looked up and saw Arthur, the man who raised him, who fought with him and the man who wanted to give him taxes that he didn't like. He saw him holding him as if to say "I want the fighting to stop as much as you do" and Alfred wanted the fighting to stop and that was the last thing he thought and he closed his eyes. Arthur notices that Alfred's hand was limp and look at his face and saw that his eyes were closed. Then Arthur put his head on Alfred's head and just said "I'm sorry". Hope you like this little story I've come up with
