Recently, ~venntus and I did a Halloween photoshoot of our colonial US & UK cosplays. It was a lot of fun running around outside in these cosplays. 8D They're quite comfortable too.

The flag in the photo is the Grand Union Flag, which interestingly looks like a combination of US and UK's flags today. This flag was first flown in 1775 on a ship named Alfred. This was the British flag flown prior to the addition of Ireland's St. Patrick's Cross, but including the 13 colonies represented by the red and white stripes.
